Whose voice is that?

Netra Iyer is a student, science enthusiast, and storyteller with a deep fascination for the human body, especially the mysteries of cancer and how it affects people’s lives. Her curiosity is not just academic; it’s deeply personal. Having undergone multiple MRIs since childhood, she has experienced the medical world both as a patient and as an observer, which gives her a rare combination of empathy and scientific understanding. Over the years, Netra has transformed those experiences into motivation. She is passionate about helping others understand science in a way that feels clear, honest, and approachable. She believes that knowledge can replace fear, particularly when it comes to something as intimidating as cancer. Outside of her scientific interests, Netra balances a sharp sense of humor with genuine warmth. She is reflective and thoughtful, yet unafraid to find laughter in the small absurdities of life and medicine. Whether she is researching, volunteering, or writing, Netra brings curiosity, compassion, and creativity to everything she does.
